First and foremost, I am a mum of two very different boys, parenting can be a challenge at times and it certainly does not come with a manual. They have taught me a lot and I would not be here without them today.<\/p>\n

Passionate about being able to deliver quality, I\u00a0recognised\u00a0the niche for developing a specialist talking therapies service, accessible to children, young people and adults. \u202fA service available to deliver\u00a0evidence based\u00a0outcomes within a timely manner, as a result, I decided to take\u202fthe initiative to set up Sunflower Cognitive Therapies.<\/p>\n

I am fully registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) governing body and I am currently working towards accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).<\/p>\n

Over time I have developed significant knowledge and experience from working with a range of problems and disorders (ADHD,\u202fAutism Spectrum Disorders,\u202f Learning Difficulties\u202fand\u202fDisabilities)\u202fto rule out any possible underlying medical or mental health problems that may be contributing to the presenting issues.<\/p>\n

Skilled in working with a range of\u202fanxiety disorders;\u202f separation,\u202f generalised\u202f and\u202fsocial anxiety, alongside\u202fpanic,\u202fphobia\u202fand\u202fObsessive Compulsive Disorder \u202f(OCD). \u202fI also work with\u202flow mood\/depression,\u202fself esteem\/low confidence,\u202fanger\u202fand\u202fbehavioural difficulties.<\/p>\n
